Strengths Discovery

In my childhood having a younger brother with special needs, augmented my optimistic outlook. Us older siblings were determined to never let him feel inadequate or undermined in our company. For me this grew into a noticeable trait of mine (not allowing people to feel inadequate or undermined in my company), and as a senior at school I was chosen to represent various entities (boarding house, school, class).

I have helped many people recognise their so-called 'inadequacies' as hidden strengths. I follow the CliftonStrengths modules independently and use their amazing tools today in my training and coaching. I also found the Enneagram and Stephen Covey's The Leader In Me to be great resources in my coaching to help unravel your natural motivations, values and ultimately strengths.

In the coaching I provide today, you will learn how to use your strengths in your business branding.

My Main Go-To Models

Facilitative Coaching Model™
Dale Schwarz, along with Anne Davidson designed Facilitative Coaching. (Facilitative Coaching: A toolkit for expanding your repertoire and achieving lasting results, Wiley 2008), a model that blends Guillermo Cuéllar’s Life Learning Model™ with Chris Argyis’ work on organizational behavior and Roger Schwarz’s Skilled Facilitator and Shared Leadership work.

The ADKAR Model™
The ADKAR Model™ developed by Jeff Hiatt is an acronym that represents the five outcomes an individual must achieve for change to be successful: awareness, desire, knowledge, ability, reinforcement®. Change is often a complex and difficult process, and inevitable. Managing change on the personal and organisational level requires new thinking, new models for change and new frameworks and tools to enable the smooth implementation of the desired change. If you try to learn all at once, there's a high chance you'll get overwhelmed. It helps to have a coach or a mentor to help speed up the learning process. You can often learn in a matter of months, what would have otherwise taken you many years to learn.
