harmonising leadership and wellbeing to create a new educational rhythm
Determined to stimulate positive change in the leadership and wellbeing of children
I am a Cultural Wellbeing Architect & Educator, harmonising leadership and wellbeing to create a new educational rhythm.
My work challenges the long-standing omissions and misinformation in education — particularly the erasure of African perspectives and the neglect of women’s physical, energetic, and spiritual biochemistry.
Drawing on the healing-centred practices of Lana Jelenjev, Ruth King, Resmaa Menakem, and Dr. Litchfield Tshabalala, I weave embodied awareness, racial healing, and collective care into the heart of leadership and learning.
Through tailored experiences that meet the unique needs of individuals, families, and institutions, I guide people toward awareness, transformation, and belonging.
My offerings include cultural sensitivity workshops for universities, racial awareness education for the care sector in Belgium, emotional wellbeing for teachers and parents, social and emotional learning for young people, family constellations, and decolonising the classroom curriculum.
At the centre of it all is a commitment to truth, reconciliation, and the creation of spaces where diversity, wellbeing, and collective flourishing are not ideals — but lived realities.
Racial Healing & Education
I have over 30 years personal and professional experience in racial education and healing across African, Caribbean, Asian and European communities. As a coach, teacher and speaker, I host and participate on panel discussions, facilitate workshops, and retreats all to raise awareness and connection beyond unconscious biases, particularly in the fields of education and parenting.
Transforming Education
My work aims to transform educational institutions, which often progress slowly in regards to soft skills development, education and application. By focusing on the emotional and social wellbeing and leadership development of the most marginalised students and educators, connections and hope, otherwise unseen, surface and magic happens.
Diamond Clarity & Resilience
Taimana is Maori for “diamond”. Diamond’s are created by immense pressure underground and are pushed to the earths surface by earth quakes and volcanic movements. Metaphorically, speaking it is the same with our emotions, which need to surface and be appreciated for the gems they are, before they are carefully understood and managed to bring about their brilliance, resilience and clarity.
